Book Design for Our Special Child – Jason’s Story

During my absence I received the official cover design for my book. The publishers sent me the original design a few weeks earlier. I sent it back suggesting a few changes. I absolutely love the final version. The design team at Tate Publishing ROCK. They captured exactly what I envisioned. Take a look.

When I first saw the design I immediately reacted to the young boy walking. Jason was confined to a wheelchair. However, after doing some soul searching and seeking advice from a very good friend and spiritual soul sister, she reminded me Jason is now in heaven walking, talking and playing. I thought about what she said and asked the design team to make a few changes. The changes now portrays Jason as an angel walking toward heaven. The green ribbon represents cerebral palsy awareness. The design team captured my thoughts precisely and I am extremely pleased.

Please let me know what you think. I would love to hear your opinion.

  1. I like this cover. It reveals multitudes of feelings and opens the mind to the possibilities of an array of issues.
